With changing rows of colours throughout the seasons its beauty is present all year round. Its Sauvignon Blanc is world renown and that reputation is well deserved. Marlborough Wine FestivalWhile Blenheim is a small town and easy to get around it also has a wide range of thriving cafés and fine dining establishments to suit all. Beautiful walks and bike tracks are plentiful, a Chocolate factory to tempt your senses and a great many gardens to relax in. It is a charming town to spend a few days. It is proud to host The Marlborough Wine and Food festival, Hunters Garden Show, Grape Ride Marlborough, and every second year it hosts the Warbirds Classic Fighters Air show.

 


Pelorus Bridge is a short drive away.
The Pelorus Bridge is a lovely place to spend a few hours or full day as there are splendid walks through our beautiful native New Zealand bush. This begins with a 20 minute return to the first waterfall and up to 4 hours return for the summit to see spectacular views of surrounding areas. There is a gorgeous fast flowing river to take a swim in and a café to stop for a bite-to-eat. Simply ask Gina about her famous picnics and she will be happy to prepare one for you.

Picton Township and Surrounds

It features award winning restaurants and the nautical museum, the Edwin Fox is a must for any enthusiast. The scenery in the Sounds is amazing. Her mountains rise straight out of the sea creating lots of bays and beaches for all kinds of bird life, dolphins, seals, terns and penguins. An excursion on the water is a must. There is a huge amount to do and see including wineries, arts and crafts, sea kayaking, walks, horse trekking and fishing (both for trout and in the sea). Swim with the Dolphins or just take a cruise around the Magical Marlborough Sounds and relax for the day.
